Made from a high grade stretchy & non-porous polyester to repel wind and rain, and it will keep it's shape and colours after many washes (NB Maximum wash temperature 40 degrees C, drip dry, do not spin, do not wring out)
Lightweight Gillets will roll up very small to fit in the rear pocket of your jersey.
Recommended Use:
N.B. Unlike the Dry Storm Gillet, Lightweight Gillets are not recommended for wearing continuously on long rides - this is because moisture from sweating will build up underneath the non-porous material.
It is a very usefull lightweight garment that packs up very small so that it can produced whenever you need to quickly add a wind/shower proof layer - eg:
- Warming up for events
- Long descents
- Light Showers & Rain
- Very Cold Wind
- Riding again after a puncture / refeshment stop (wear your gillet for the first 15mins or so and then remove and stow in your jersy rear pocket once you have warmed up.)

NB. PLEASE TAKE CARE BEFORE CHOOSING YOUR SIZE - foreign manufacturer's differ widely in their use of different sizes and cuts of material.
Also, even with the same manufacturer, each garment in the range varies slightly, e.g. from long sleeve jersey to short sleeve jersey - below are the actual dimensions of this item when laid out flat on a table (un-stretched) - use this information to make a comparison with any existing clothing that you have. If on delivery, you wish to exchange the item for another size, it's not a problem. Just return the unused item in the original packaging - if your preffered size in stock, you'll receive an exchange by return of post. Alternatively, you'll be offered a credit on your account and an order will be placed for your size.
